There are some good reasons to immediately start exploring a valley that is in love with the two wheels. The 50-km Bike Path of the Dolomites, the Pampeago ascent that over the past few years has become a place of female glory 5 times, the Marcialonga Cycling is now in the hearts of cycling fans, and countless possibilities of pedaling through unparalleled views.
When the winter starts towards the end, cyclists conquer back the roads and the trails, dusting the bike and the will to ride.
The Fiemme Valley invites you to immerse yourselves in the natural paradise of the Latemar Group and of the Paneveggio Pale di S.Martino Natural Park.
The valley is crossed by the Bike Path of the Dolomites connecting it with the Fassa Valley with a vertical drop of 600 meters, and running for about 50 km from Molina di Fiemme to Canazei.
The bike path is the ideal starting point for all cyclists willing to warm up before tackling an ascent on the Dolomite passes. It’s here that on-the-road tours start, extending to the four Dolomite passes of Sella Ronda, to Marmolada, to the Rosengarten, to the Pale di San Martino (at the slopes of which a memorial stone dedicated to the great Gino Bartali has been placed – you can admire it while climbing up to the Rolle Pass), and also to the lakes of Levico and Caldaro.
You can start directly from the hotel both by bike and on foot, and reach the public swimming pools of Cavalese and Predazzo that are only 6 km away.
The bike paths are countless, and you can climb the Dolomite passes that have marked the history of cycling, or reach both the Fassa Valley and the Cembra Valley by mainly flat routes.
There are numerous possibilities also for the race. Ride on the paved bike path of Fiemme and Fassa, or on the numerous forest roads and dirt paths in the valley, or use the athletic tracks of Cavalese and Predazzo for your assessment test.
